Have had 6 calls from this number this afternoon. Clearly prank calls with giggling people in the background. Based on similar posts I am guessing some staff at the North Shore Hospital are using hospital phones for a bit of afternoon entertainment. Grow up people.

Not entirely sure about it being the north shore hospital, can't call it back and Im in christchurch, don't even know anyone on the shore and if someone i know had been admitted or something Im sure i would have found out via friends or family, Im going to go with ignore

Sarah replied 1/14/14, 11:42 AMI have 2 missed calls already from this number and thought it was possibly from North Shore Hospital but i am not convinced its a legitimate call because they usually call from a number i can call them back on and they leave me a message not the case this time, maybe it is a scam from somebody who has access to and outside line at the hospital, i have also tried to call the number back from 2 different lines and listen to a funny message. ???? Suspicious and if its not needs to be addressed by the hospital if it is just simply someone trying to make contact.Sarah replied 1/14/14, 12:28 PMHave had a text from hospital to confirm my appointment tomorrow yet still getting calls from this number will be informing the hospital when i attend tomorrow just in case -

i missed the first couple of calls from this number. when i called back the number was not supported. the next day an indian guy called on behalf of the North Shore Hospital. he claimed I've left a message which I did NOT!!! well, so far it's everything but trustworthy... hands off!

When you call back on that number it is logged as call received and he was probably calling you back to enquire why you had called. This number is North Shore Hospital. I had 2 missed calls from this number and when I tried to call back I received the "this number does not accept call backs" message. I was expecting a call from the hospital. After stumbling across this page, I see that many others have identified the number as being North Shore Hospital. I contacted somebody at the hospital on a different number and they confirmed that they had called me twice from this number but had not left a message - this is what I don't understand, if they left a voicemail it would take away all the confusion!!
