answered the call, not knowing it was a scam number. Said her name was Jackie from One.nz Offering cheap broadband. The call seemed normal until she asked for my drivers license. I said I'd phone her back, but have blocked the phone number.

Keep calling and for some reason I am away from my phone each time. The voice message says deals from Vodafone and they will call back - Vodafone are not in NZ anymore and One.NZ is not allowed to use the Vodafone name.

Called me in afternoon today. Offering me some One NZ deals, also asked for my contact details and driving license etc. I said I m already using one NZ and you should have these details in your system. I got upset with way she kept asking personal information and wasting time. She had passed some racist comments to me and I cancelled call.

This number used to call me so I blocked it. Now I get a text saying “you missed a call from this number and they did not leave a message” don’t know how it’s still coming thru as a message like that since I blocked it. I vaguely recall it was some kind of telemarketer that said they’d call back so I blocked it.

Have missed previous calls but answered today, caller said he was from One NZ broadband and could offer lower deals etc for internet...I wasnt interested and also reluctant as how they got me details for my prepayed mobile number...I ended the call breifly..so not exactly sure if legit or not...

5.44pm tonight, Gave his name as Kevin and said he was calling on behalf of Vodafone regarding their latest Broadband deal. Gave my partners details and drivers licence details, gave my email address, he said I would receive email with all details, and have received no email. He gave me two 0800 numbers for Vodafone, both are correct contact details, but I am still suspicious.
Auckland replied 4/1/23, 6:28 AMSuspected scam. From Vodafone, provides all info about broadband, ask details, no email follow up. Think it is a scam, do not answer -

Called this morning and said they were one.nz offering cheap Broadband. When I said I am already with one/Vodafone he then said that they are contracted by one.nz which means he was lying about being one.nz at which time I said I was suspicious of the call and hung up.
